• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Wheel lift and Suspension

I've lifted a wheel a couple of times during cornering, so I tried increasing the stiffness of the stock shocks (up to 5) and added the Evo-sway bar. It seems to me the Spyder is more likely to lift a wheel now. Admittdely, maybe I'm just cornering more aggressively... Anyone else ever get that feeling? :dontknow:
And how much should I worry about flipping Spydie?

This depends...

I say this is a very good sign for you. This means (If you can do it over and over) that you have found the abilities of your Spyder and can get out of weird situations when needed...

Yes... By adding the Sway bay and cranking the shocks up, this has allowed you to push the Spyder more, and it is easier to pull the tire off the ground because the suspension is pre-sprung... This also means you are pushing your Spyder much farther than before (Because the VSS on mushy suspension settings kill the throttle a lot).

If you have not done so already and want a softer ryde, but sport feeling, may I suggest getting a pair of 2010 RT Shocks/springs and give them a go. We reeeeeeeeally enjoyed our RSS with those up front... Setting #3 on the RT shocks is a lot like the #5 setting on the RS shocks, but the RT shocks give back the softer ryde feeling...

Anyway... You may also find that the lifted tire is not going in the air as high as it did with the gushy suspension, with the stiff suspension and not kicking in the VSS as it was compared to the softer suspension and no sway bar... If so I call this the fun zone... Allows me to be right on the edge of VSS and gives me a very big smile as I can gas through it...

That said... Regardless of how your suspension is setup. VSS will kick in once you get the Spyder into pre-calculated angles and will reduce the throttle to bring you back safely. Nothing is full proof and we are ultimately responsible for the Spyder, but having a stiffer suspension leads to a few extra sport/spirited driving smiles than gushy suspension does :ohyea::spyder:

Congrats on finding the sweet spot! :firstplace::bowdown::yes:
