• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What's the possible cause of the 2015 F3's belt to be 220Lbs on the Krikit

Left side rear wheel axle bushing.jpgBoth Rear Wheel axle shaft ends are as far forward as the slotted round openings allowed. I started out making a minor adjustment to get the belt on the rear sprocket another 1 mil gap. The krikit showed 145# when I began. Now it reads 225#. I have 2 krikit gauges reading same. Both readings are wheels on the ground. This is so simple but 3 hours later I'm baffled. I'm afraid the additional tension will wear out the belt drive pulley.
Any ideas???

There is a bushing with 2 shoulders on the belt side of the wheel hub. Does the 1st shoulder go inside the hub?

hey guy can you get a side photo of what this looks like on the wheel axle area ? or is this a very small movement deal not noticeable gap to view ?

Lets see....

I have found that adjusting the right side to the tension you want then the left side for the tracking works for me. Now the other issue it that the tension seems to climb when you torque the axel. I have noted the difference and compensated for it... is tedious :banghead:

When they say tighten the adjustment---clockwise is tighten--correct? Going in Tuesday for a T-11 to S-1 Spine fusion thus my thought process focus keeps returning to the 8 vertebrae involved.
Do you adjust to the desired belt placement when the rear wheel is off the ground. It seems to make a major change after it's lowered. Strange part is I've done this before in 10% of the time I've spent this time & I'm still not where I want to be & future adjustment will be 2 months after the back surgery. Too many motorcycle & sky diving unpleasant incidents. Maturity--where art thou ? One 170 mph bike crash when visor fogged up tight land speed racing & I panic over braked.:banghead::yikes:

I read this on this site, it may help.....

When torqueing the rear axle nuts start from the horizontal position (both wrenches level with the floor) push down on the left nut and push up on the right nut. You will be pushing the axle forward against the adjusters. If you do the opposite you'll be pulling the axle backward and tightening the belt ever so slightly. Hope this helps.
