• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hello all, just purchased a 2023 F3-T and was informed by the service department that the first service (Break-In) is at 1000 miles, then the next service is at 3000 miles? The Operator's Guide states that the first service (Break-In) is at 3000 miles? What is the correct mileage? Not sure if this is just a money grab by the dealer. Thank you and "Safe Riding".

The owners manual says 3000 mi. .... I bought a new 14 RT back in 14 and have never had any SERVICE work done - period .... I did go back for a couple of warranty items but that's all .... In the U.S the " Moss Magnusen act " ( law ) legally allows you to do ALL the maintenance and service work you want and the Warranty is not effected ( putting a Turbo on it won't be covered tho ..:roflblack: ) . good luck, PS I'm not feeling good about youir dealer :gaah:.... Mike

The owner's manual is correct. The dealer just wants to make an extra $400 bucks off of you. My guess, they will not actually perform the service at 1000 miles.

Go with the Owners manual.

Then every 9300 miles/or every year do a oil change.

If you put your spyder up for hibernation do the oil change before you put into hibernation.
