• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What weight will a Show Chrome Trunk Rack carry?

Found from older models: The manufacturer's trunk specs should be referenced for loading limits.

Personally I never put more than five or six pounds on a trunk rack. The rack itself may be plenty beefy enough, but the plastic lid that it sets on isn't all that strong.

On my vacation in early June I had 20 pounds on the rack and another 20 in the trunk, did 1900 miles no issues

:congrats::dontknow: would been leery to put double digits # on the lid, Maybe with some wide spacers support on foot post, help spread the weight. What I’ve seen that’s some thin plastic& lot of rear end bouncing/vibrating on UV exposed surfaces. Surprised didn’t have some internal reinforcement.

The 3400 mile trip I just returned from I had close to 50 pounds in the trunk , still no issues.
