• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Started our extended Memorial weekend trip last night. Left home at 16:00 and arrived in Ft Kent at 21:30. On the ride up it was partly sunny and nice. From Patten Maine heading north on route 11, we ran into rain for the last 100 miles. In Ashland we saw 12 deer next to the rode. We were glad they stayed away from the road. Just North of Portage, I saw a movement on the road. It was a Moose, I slowed down in a hurrry and the darn Moose decided he wanted to cross the road, which he did. I was all but stopped. I look where he was heading and there was another Moose standing on the side of the road. My wife made sure I did not go over 40 mph after that. After no more than 5 miles later we were going up this long steep hill(Susses Hill) and at the top there is a swamp donkey mud hole. We saw one of the biggest bull Moose strutting thru all of the mud, he had smaller side kick with him. So that makes 4 moose in less than 10 miles. About another mile a Bobcat ran across the rode in front of us. That is pretty much it for wildlife sightings. Got up this morning and made my 08:00 appointment. Had rear tire replaced and they did and update(New) for 2010 to 2012 RT's. Tech told me it was a new one. I do not know what it does. Left Maine at 11:45 and crossed the Border into Cananda. Before we left Customs I made sure I changed the speedometer from mph to kmh. Another note if you are using a credit card in a foriegn country, make sure you call that company up and tell them you will be using this card in a foreign country. It sucks having the card not work, because of unusaul transactions. Also you may want to contact your phone provider, it is a good chance your cell phone will not work. We arrived in a town named Hartland. It has the longest covered bridge in the world, 1,282 feet long. It is still in use. AWESOME. We finally arrived in Fredericton, NB. Tomorrow we will be heading toward Prince Edward Island. I'll keep you posted. I have some pics.

Sounds like fun. I will be heading up that way in August. I'll keep the Moose in mind :lecturef_smilie:

Great observations..!!

sounds like a wonderful trip. Sorry about the rain and glad you and the wild life kept your distance. Though the bobcat threw me, to much construction work I guess, thought you were talking about a tractor type...:roflblack: Good advise on credit cards and phone. Enjoy the next leg drive safe..!!:ohyea:

I want to let you all know that the wife and I did not make it to our destination. We got up Saturday morning and decided to head back to the States.Weather was not cooperating. Made it home by early evening. Still it was a fun trip. Cleaned the Spyder up. Went for a nice ride yesterday... Keep on Ryding. Bruce

Good advice about the credit cards. I was in Egypt and my AmEx suddenly stopped working!! It took several international calls to get going again.
