One of the guys that I am riding with to Spyderfest is planning on cleaning out his closet and bringing disposable shirts with him. I don't own enough clothes to do that
Maybe they should put a bin at the vendor area for all the disposables and hope there's a Wally World near by.
I assume you are traveling alone and one of those trunks should be for the bike. I use the left rear for that. Plug kit, tools, oil, cables, paper funnels, stuff like that. If you are travelling with someone who has a trailer, don't feel awkward about seeing if you can put a backpack in there. Spyder people are good people and will take the shirt off their backs for each other. Unless the guy has a huge stomach and is ryding with his wife. You can tie down to the passenger seat too. I even used a cargo net one year going to SITR, hooked to the rear trunk lid. I was amazed how much you can put under those things. It will also work to contain things on the seat behind you. BUT, get a container of assorted bungee cords. These things are invaluable. Don't forget water. If you have a Camelbak or similar device, you are set.
I even traveled with backpacks hanging from my handlebars. I looked like a 60 YO paper boy UNTIL SpyderAnn01 told my wife to get a trailer last year. Something about two women shopping together spells trouble but in this case it was a good idea.
