There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. What size phone charger battery pack used for communicators?

We have 2 sets the Sena communicators, 20’s and the unit built into the Cavalry helmet. Charging the 20’s is a no brained. It can be done on the bike while riding, They can be charged and operate at same time. The Cavalry helmet can’t be charged while working. So, I have been using my “icon” portable boost pack to charge the Cavalry at night. Only problem with that is if my battery on the Spyder ever died, I’d never be able to jump start her. The portable jump packs can’t be charged off a Spyder. The 2 amp output to recharge would take days of constant charging due to the beefiness of the battery. I’ve read a bunch of threads about putting the portable phone charger pack in your pocket and charge, then recharge the phone battery pack from the bike the next day. What size 10000 or 25000? Does the communicator use about 25 percent of the battery pack a charge? How long does it take to recharge the portable phone charger on spyder? Just looking for an easier way to charge a communicator at night while camping on the road.

What about a solar-powered battery pack that can recharge during the day if mounted somewhere on the Spyder facing the sky?

Also, I dont understand why you can't recharge the cavalry at night from a wall socket?

I’ll be Primitive camping with the mini mate, not in hotel. No electrical sites till I get there. $15 gets me a hot shower and lay down for the night and continue on. Not going to leave my helmet in shower house for the night to charge. Your spelling is correct, Sorry spell checker changed it. Solar is an option but prefer crust standard charger. Need to charge 2 helmets each night or they die halfway through the following day.

Ah, now I understand. In your situation I'd recommend a solar-powered battery pack on your mini-mate.

Or, a simple 12v battery pack on your Spyder (trunk?) That is being charged from the Spyder's electrical system as youre riding.

I have your problem solved all you need is a unit called the GoPuck,
I discovered these at the Electronics show and again at the SEMA show in Las Vegas about 6 years ago. I bough one there as a test
to see if they were any good.... well my friend they are worth every penny. I can recharge my iphone at least twice and still have power
my wife uses it while on the road calling on her cliants to power her Mac book Pro when needed. this one in the photos I just took out of my
backpack to show you, that is why it's all covered with lint and such this one is about 2 years old and works like new. it comes with a belt clip and also a clamp to work on bars. If you want more info and pricing give me a call
