• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What parts are needed to rebuild the slave cylinder?

I've been doing a lot of research about the slave cylinder leak problem on some of the SM5 bikes, as my master cylinder reservoir was completely dry the other day. Thank to the excellent posts on here, I was able to flush/bleed the system. Like everyone else, there was a lot of black crud in the old fluid. Took the Rotax cover off of the slave cylinder, and noticed a very small leak around the piston when I squeeze the clutch. I'm slowly learning to wrench on these things myself, and I think I can rebuild it. Couple questions:

In the service manual, it shows a special tool that you bolt on to where the cover is. Is this something I need? And is there a rebuild kit, or do I need to order the parts individually?

Thanks!
