• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What is the cost of tire replacement? And Brake rotor too?

I know this has been asked before, but with prices going up, you just don't know! What have you been paying to have the rear tire removed, replaced with one you supplied, and put back on your spyder 2020 RTL; and do they need to remove the brake rotor to do it?? Because I want the brake rotor also replaced while they've got it all apart. What should that cost extra if they don't have to remove it to change the tire; and if you've done the tire replacement yourself, how long does it take? I know that's a load of questions, but THANKS...

You will need to first find an independent shop that will do it. BRP shops won't mount non-BRP purchased tires. Otherwise, you might find a Walmart that will do the tire change on carried-in wheels. Check with their techs first. One of my local Walmarts has a couple techs that don't mind doing it, but I have to be there when they open on the appointed day.

Rear Tire Replacement

:coffee:...I had to pay $156.00 last year for OEM Tire and install. Dealer would not install an Auto Tire.

Good Luck with Your Mission. ....

Time to remove/replace the rear tire yourself will take up to an hour. Not too bad but the wheel isn't light so you may need an extra pair of hands or invent your own personal 'engineering feat' to relieve the pressure on the axle as you slide it out/in. The RT bodywork makes it a bit harder than the open-back F3.

Prices are going to various if at a dealer ..... if you can get the wheels off, you can pay what it would cost you for your Car or Trkl ..... good luck .... Mike

My dealer put on a new rear tire (Ricken Raptor 215/60 R15...thanks Mike for suggestion) for $127.50 yesterday. 2016 RTL has 6722 miles and original rear was starting to go already. Fronts are fine, when they do need to be replaced I'll take them off to bring to the dealer.

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE KEEP US INFORMED ABOUT YOUR TESTING ...... In the past I have picked quite a few different tires for our Spyders and got a 95% approval rating from those that bought them ..... I'm having my new Riken put on this Monday If this Riken works out well, it will be a less expensive alternative ..... in today's economy every nickel counts .... Mike
