• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What interest rate is BRP offering right now on their financing?

The Can-Am site isn't showing any financing promotions right now, so just curious what folks are being quoted on, say, the F3.

My credit union is embarrassingly awful on motorcycle loans these days, so I'm pretty sure BRP can beat them by a mile...

Local dealer was easily able to beat Sheffield's rates by shopping a few local credit unions. Did not matter if I was a member or not. I am now a member of the Texas Dow Employees FCU.....never worked for Dow but they have been great to deal with.

When I bought mine . . .

My dealer had good relationships with almost every credit union, bank and other lenders. He had better rates than BRP from his local sources. I'd recommend having a conversation with them. You may be pleasantly surprised.

The last two Spyders I financed (2010 and 2011) both were financed at credit unions. The rates were lower than banks were quoting at the time. My dealer offered me the same rate as they did. Dealer got one, and I financed the other.

Watch out for dealer reserve if you do not do your own financing.
Usually a couple points higher than actual.

EG. Dealer says 7%, the CU is actually charging 5%. You pay 7%, the dealer gets to pocket the extra 2% as commission for the deal with finance company X.

Due diligence can save you money. Company sponsored credit (here BRP) is usually at a higher rate than can be obtained locally if you have a good credit rating.

4.99 for 60, 5.99 for 72 and 6.99 for 84 through Sheffield. My dealer was able to shop through a local credit union and got us a much lower rate than Sheffield.

We were just able to obtain 3.99% for 60 months for a local F3 customer :thumbup:

I would think i can offer that nationwide and with our free shipping?! (shameless plug)

Thanks all! Like I said, was just curious. Obviously, BRP was advertising competitive rates through the fall, but now they've got zip on their site, was wondering what the SL crowd was hearing from their dealers lately.

About 2 weeks ago I got offered 0% for 6 months, or 3.99% for 3 yrs from Sheffield. Took the 0%, although I haven't signed papers yet. I hoping to next week when weather is good here so I can ride home.
