• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Wifes bday was yesterday(turned 40 for the 4th time), and we went out to dinner. I forgot to tape the Duals :banghead:.
Anything exciting happen?

it's a sweep.....

Joe Gibbs Racing took both races. Kenseth in #1 and Hamlin in #2. Huh, where were Childress' cars?

Watching nationwide qualifying, and the three round system they have is nuts. May have drivers attempt not so smart moves to grab the poll. Dont really understand the system yet.

I sure hope sprint cup doesn't adopt this system.....

They have, but not for Daytona, With Phoenix, next week, it's on for Sprint Cup.

Doesn't that seem just a little bit silly??

As sharp as his team is; they didn't put enough fuel in it??? :banghead:

They knew they were close and did not want to lose position. They were in either way so why risk it? :dontknow:

I watched the first race and it was so boring I fell asleep. I went to bed before the second one. If the 500 is gonna feature; a "follow the leader" parade for 190 laps, followed by "the big one" and one of those :cus: green-white-checker finishes NASCAR loves so much, I will forget to watch the racing again this season. There was no racing last night and I doubt it will get any better Sunday.

IMO they should make them start each week with a stock machine. Allow them to spend 50,000 on it and give them the roll cage, fuel bladder and safety glass. After the race, if it is not wrecked they should run it on $5000 a week until it is. Then the cars would actually be "STOCK".

Just sayin'............

Well that stinks... I can see many bent up cars in future qualifing costing teams alot more money which NASCAR was trying to reduce with the one motor/car rule. Yes it maybe more exciting to watch, but with this system rarely will the fastest car get the pole position.

I have a simpler idea; remove the :cus: restrictor plates, and let them RACE!! :2thumbs:

I agree. And get rid of the "Aero" advantages such as the spoiler and the air dam. They will be ridiculously fast but will be limited by the handling of the machine.
