What dealer did you order your Spyder from?

I heard some dealers lost allocation because they got greedy and started asking way over list. 15k is a fair price for this and thank God it wasn't made by Harley or it would be 25k.

Also had to order from Florida (Pensacola) since no dealers here in Texas yet. I am wondering which vendors will be offering accessories and how soon.

I got in on the first production run but they're telling me it looks like Oct. before I see it and the next batch will be in March and then it will be a year before the next run. So what are you guys hearing?

I got the exact same story when I placed my order from Pittsfield Lawn and Tractor (all heavy equipment sales & ATV's, no motorcycles) last April. They had already sold out of their quota.

That's OK, I guess, as getting it in the fall wouldn't leave me much riding time (I live in snowy northwestern Massachusetts.)

I'm not sure if order is the right term... put a $250 100% refundable order confirmation deposit down. This is for my wife. She wants a yellow spydy with a touring windshield, backrest, fog lights ^ sequential electric gear box(not sure if that will be possible). Willing to wait until April for it...

I test drove a prototype silver/black one for about 35 minutes & was impressed.

We ordered ours from Donahue Supersports in Wisconsin Rapids, WI. Silver. We were the 21st to order from them. The youngest was 34, the oldest, 84. They stuck to the MSRP pricing but said they would try to discount the accessories.

We ordered ours (mine in silver, my husband's in yellow) from Nord Ride in Mt. Morris, MI (just north of Flint). There is a dealership closer to us that is also selling the Spyder's but they did not seem to have the same knowledge base. As a matter of fact they were more like, just salesmen. At Nord Ride, the service manager accidentally sold my husband his ;D They were just talking about the Spyder itself and he was so knowledgable that we put the $1000 down that day. It helps of course that this service manager was one of the first 15 dealers to go to Spyder school for a week. I understand they will be sending everyone there eventually. About a week and a half later I decided that I wanted one to instead of a larger scooter so we went back and put down another deposit. We are expected to get them in March.

Talked to Frank today and got my confirmation number. He said all of his allocation is in production and should be delivered in the next few weeks!!

Sold both my motorcycles and bought a Seadoo jet boat and ordered the spider on the same day. At the ripe old age of 60 I wanted the stability the spider offers.

I was invited to go to San Diego in February for the unveiling of a new BRP product. I was involved with a riding club and was well known at the local dealership. When I saw the Spyder, I was hooked. I ordered mine mid February. I spent so much time at the dealership telling others about the Spyder that in June... they offered me a job. Courtenay Motorsports in Courtenay, British Columbia on Vancouver Island, Canada is where I became the 1st to put an order in for a Spyder. As of yesterday... we've got 8 sold. Mine should be here next week.

Filers Powersports Macedon, NY great people ordered mind in feb # 2 on the dealer list of the 2 he has to sell first. should be this week or next I am being told by the dealer from their contact w/BRP, we will see, not to much faith in the factory info release.
