• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Read on a post that a tacoma was a vehicle that used a 225/50/15. Discount tire rejected my order. What car uses this tire. Sorry for the tire post but couldn't find it in the search. :banghead:

Oh I got ya. I went the Ebay route and it was a no questions asked transaction. I heard the horror stories on here about ordering direct from their website.

Some people say 2008 Chevrolet Cobalt LS and others say 2004 Toyota Tacoma: the Base 2wd model.

If you punch them into Discount Tires fitment guide the 225/50R15 doesn't come up at the correct size but it does show as an optional size. Good luck.

Tell them to cancel the order

You could just cancel the order with them, or just not call them back. Go on eBay and have it shipped to,your door with free shipping for $81. I just received mine this past Friday no questions asked.

Buy from someone else

Post about problems with Discount Tire have been plentiful on this forum. I will not buy from them and neither should you. Cancel the order and spend your money with someone who appreciates the value of a customer.

On eBay. Discount tire. $81. Shipped free and no tax. Just bought one.

I got the rear tire from discount tire and they didn't cancel my order even though they knew it was for a Spyder. They even offered to install it for me but I declined given that I was more comfortable doing it at my dealership. I guess it all depends on the shop u order from!!! ;)

I thought those vehicles were for the front tires, not the rear tire!!!!!
I think the rear tire is much to wide to be stock on those vehicles.

:agree::2thumbs: They "discount" what good service can do for them, all for a catchy name:popcorn::roflblack:

I used Chevy Cobalt and it went thru. Should arrive tomorrow. Cobalt has 195s on it but they said sense it was a higher rated tire it would go thru.:thumbup::yes::yes::yes:

Kuhmo Tire

Funny how all these folks are having problems with Discount Tire. I went up to my local place in Mesquite, Tx last week and ordered 2 of them. One for my Trike which needed one badly, only had 8100 miles on the Kenda, and the other for my wifes 2015 RT for the future. They ordered them for me, no problems, came in yesterday and I went and picked them up. No questions asked. Just who you order them from.
