• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What are the frunk & trunk weight limits?

2to3

Just bought 2022 F3L :ohyea: What is a reasonable weight limit for the frunk & trunk? Asking 'cuz I would like to go bowling & take my (bowling) balls in the spyder. Size wise they will fit, but not sure about the weight. We're talking 3 - 14lb balls. Of course I'll make sure they don't roll around. Any thoughts?

put each in a different compartment ...... PS The Spyders have weight stickers for every compartment in EVERY compartment ..... Mike

You should be able to fit 2 bowling balls up front and 1 in top case without issues. The shoes and crying towel can keep the balls from shifting. The RT frunk is good for 35 lbs. I don't know the top case RECOMMENDED max but a 16 lb ball shouldn't be a problem. Bags will be a tough fit.

Thanks for the replies. Didn't know about the weight stickers :opps: I figure a roller bag can be tied down to the passenger seat. If not, I'll just fold up the soft carry bag & use it to keep stuff from moving around.

If you put too much weight on the passenger seat the nanny will think you're 2-up and be more sensitive to your riding 'style'. Maybe spread the roll-up across the seat?

Or a platform spanning the seat pad...

Sorry, I wasn't too clear....if I tie down the roller bag, it will be empty....bowling balls in frunk & trunk! Really not sure I could lift a loaded bag onto the seat.
