• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

went to adjust shocks and of course, no tool kit - any recommendations?

well darn, I went to adjust the front shocks today and followed the manual to the tool kit and of coarse (What can you expect for buying used) no tool kit. Are there any recommended way to adjust the shocks without the tool kit. Maybe a large pair of vice grips or should I just try and find someone selling the tool kit and wait my time for it to arrive.

I'm sure you checked under the seat where the tool kit is kept ?

Since you DO have preload adjusters on the 2012s: all that you need is round hunk of decent steel, to stick in the holes... :dontknow:
Can you find a screwdriver with the right-sized handle, and cut the head off of it?

yup, checked under the seat. Seen where it was supposed to go but no tool set. I will check in screwdriver size. I just know right now its so soft I almost hate turning corners. I wanna order the Baja ron swaybar but not till I stiffen the springs all the way up and see how it rides first.

Where is your preload currently set?
Position #3? (the center one...)
Take it right up to #5 and see if that helps; good luck!

yes, right now it is on the center position. Hopefully today I will be able to come up with a tool and make it work,

If it is the round hole adjuster a large philips head screwdriver will work but to make it easy without busting a knuckle lift the front end to take off the weight on the shocks...

I couldn't find my tool kit either, until I realized that it's attached to the under side of the seat. Not in a cubby or anything.......

I really like your floor boards. What brand are they?

My Can Am dealer sells shock adjustment spanners. Bought one last week to adjust my trailer shocks. Much better than OEM. Cost $18.00

Since you have a 2012 RT--check other places for the tool kit. Trunk area, saddlebags, Frunk--sometimes stashed behind the liner. I moved mine from under seat to frunk area on one and in the trunk for the other one.

Unlikely that the previous owner would have kept it. The kit is pretty much useless unless you want to tighten a screw, bolt, etc.

Others suggestions for a quick solve are right on.

howdy all,
The floor board are made by seal floorboards.

Yeah, I searched everywhere and no luck. Mine does not have the holes but the notches for a spanner wrench to use. I didn't have the spanner wrench so I simply wrapped them in a towel to not scratch them and used a pair of vice grips, they actually turned really easy and now I got them set to the stiffest position. It is better, actually a lot better but still believe I am going to invest in the baja ron sway bar and upgraded links.
