While riding to Canberra with two other Spyders (1RT and 1RS) my RT decided to have a DPS failure. What an experience that is. The steering pulls to the right and then lets go and of to the left goes the Spyder. I rode like that for 100 Ks until we got to the dealer.:gaah:
My Spyder will now be in the shop for a few weeks until the new DPS arrives and is fitted (Recall). I suppose it could have been worse and failed on our way to Phillip Island in October for the MotoGP.
My dealer will now do some of the Warranty work while he has it.:clap:
Sad thing is I hate not having the Spyder to ride:dontknow:
There are now 4 Spyders in our little group and growing fast, the word is out there.

Not good news Danny.
Whilst I have not had any issues in 12000 kilometers, I think I will ring CMC to-morrow and book mine in for the new DPS ASAP.:dontknow:

Pull the fuse to the DPS and keep on riding until new DPS is in.

I think there are 2 fuses you need to pull- one on the front and one under the seat. Check the manual.
