• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Well, How About That!

You just never can tell when something really strange will occur. It snowed in San Antonio and greater south central Texas last night! Good Lord, it's Armageddon! The irony is that we have snow on the ground at our winter home but there isn't any at our summer home in Maine. Feel like we might be entering the Twilight Zone.

More impressively, it wasn't merely a few random flakes but several inches. Enough for some who had never seen snow in their lives to make snow men (women, persons?). And it's still on the ground this morning despite bright sun and relatively warm temperatures.
Oh, and what do Texans use to make a snowman's nose? Why jalapeno peppers of course.

There you have it....

That is why they changed from "Global Warming" to "Climate change"....the climate changes :roflblack::roflblack: so they are right no matter what...

I heard that about San Antonio on the weather last night.

Meanwhile, back here in Alaska, we had temps in the mid 30's. Freezing drizzle. About 300 miles to the East, they had 46 inches of snow in Thompson Pass. The road was closed due to avalanches for about 20 miles.

Weather is interesting to say the least.:bowdown:

My son called me last night from Austin and said "Dude, it's snowing here!" He was blown away. Not a normal occurrence there. We're supposed to get it here in SW CT tomorrow - maybe 4 inches depending on how the storm tracks.
