Weird hard start problem - any ideas/fixes?

2014 Rts wife’s bike. Have been having intermittent starting issues, problem mostly happens after a riding for a while then sitting for about 15 minutes. Bike cranks well but acts like no fuel or spark. After a few tries it starts right up and works fine for a few more days?? I was thinking heat soak or vapor lock? Bike has 38k on it. Fuel filter? No codes are displayed, any ideas for me to check out? Thanks for any suggestions need to keep the wife happy.

Assuming that your compression is good. I would start with a new fuel filter, a good fuel injection cleaner and maybe check spark plugs and coil-overs. It may be a coil is weak and not happy with the heat.
