Hi Folks,
This is my first post, but I hope I have something to add to the community. I got my Spyder last week with the help of another owner who had a truck and custom trailer. He's on the other board (why are there two?) if anyone cares.
Well less than a week of ownership and I had to get her up on the scales to see what we're working with. BRP lists 697lbs dry in the manual.
Mine is 681lbs with about half a tank of gas.
Yeah, okay, so that's with about 50lbs of bodywork off of it and totally unrideable. I was surprised how heavy the seat is!
Oh, and I've already got my first upgrade in mind. Will share more details when it's done.
