• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What hardware & software & iPhone apps does everyone use to track weather while riding?

My Garmin 665LM with full time moving map doppler weather radar generated by XM/Sirius. You will need a XM radio Weather subscription. Weather warnings and you can always tell where the Thunderstorms are at and there track. Also wind warnings.Jack

I guess that I'm just in an area where nothing gets through to the NOAA channels... :gaah:
How well do they work in other areas of the Country?

I use the NOAA on the Spyder, accuweather.com before I depart, Weatherbug app on my glaxy and if all else fails look up and see if the sun is shining....LOL

I use the Intellicast app on my iphone, this is an app that my BIL told me about, he is a pilot, so I always figured if it was good for him and his fellow pilots it was good enough for me.

The best..!!

carry all the gear for bad weather and ryde on...:roflblack: To much knowledge will keep you from going....

My Radar Pro. Have used it for 3 years and it's been accurate. It will send alerts & warnings for the area I happen to be in via text.
