• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Weather band on the RT radio

I just checked the WX band on the radio on my 2014 RTS and there are only 7 numbered channels, possibly coinciding with the 7 NOAA channels. When I turn Channel 1 on, it is receiving the (I assume) local NOAA report. The other 6 are pure static. My question is, does anyone know if, when traveling through other counties, I were to switch from Channel 1 to Channel 2, etc. would I eventually hit on one of the seven channels for the county I was currently in for a local forecast? There doesn't appear to be a way to set the station so I assume they are preset and I just have to find the pre-programmed station for the county I happen to be in at that time.

Weather band

Well in my experiences riding around Michigan with the weather band on you will pick up the nearest weather output to your location. It will automatically turn to the strongest signal! But we never have bad ridding weather in this state.

Based on your last comment, you must live in a different country named Michigan!

Yup! It's built-in to the sound system.
I've never been able to pick up anything on it up here in the mountains...
So I just keep my, "Eyes on the Skies!"

Yeah, I got home and pulled out the manual and found that. I was driving all day after I asked the question earlier. No one had ever told me
