• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

We saw one of these this weekend

As Spyder owners we are used to getting all the looks, so you can imagine the look on my face when one of these pulled up next to me at a stop sign.

I had to do a double take, this was on a back road and the guy just waved. This thing is smaller than the spyder. How fun to see the different vehicles making their way to the road.

By the way here is the link if you want to know what this is http://www.wsav.com/midatlantic/sav/news/health.apx.-content-articles-SAV-2008-06-12-0016.html

Very cool but I couldn't buy one - glad to see others driving different things but I couldn't do that car or whatever it is :dontknow:

That looks exactly like the Corbin Sparrow. Not my cup of tea either...But interesting.

I'm not sure and I would have to see them side by side but I think the Corbin has a little bit wider front end than the NMG. Also the NMG is made in Ohio and that would be an easier import to MI than the Corbin made in CA. But I didn't get to look at it for that long so I could be wrong.

It's basically the same vehicle. Corbin Motors (who made the sparrow) went bankrupt back in 2003. Then Myer Motors took the vehicle and created the NMG (No More Gas) vehicle. You can see it here:

We talk about all of this stuff at our club site. We are always discussing alternative vehicles, and anything new that is coming out.

Anyway, it's pretty interesting.
