California court rules illegal immigrants can get in-state tuition
The California Supreme Court has ruled unanimously that illegal immigrants may continue to receive in-state tuition at California colleges and Universities.
The decision overturns a lower court ruling.
In their ruling, the state court said California law specifically guarantees in-state tuition, a lower price, for students attending local schools for at least three years.
In their ruling, the court said that state law does not conflict with federal prohibitions for educational benefits for illegal immigrants ased on residency.

Makes me wanna :barf::wrong:. We have our Sanctuary city of New Haven - All new haven residents can get these New Haven I.D. cards, including illegals. It was on the news - they were scared to get in line to get them but once a few of them did, the rest of them did. I swear we need to just split my state in half, put the bleeding hearts on one side and let that all go to Heck. If I didn't hold a job here, I wouldn't be living here. Maybe someday we can transfer out of here! And it won't be to California either.

It was on the news - they were scared to get in line to get them but once a few of them did, the rest of them did. :agree: I was pissed when I heard about this. I would move out of California if I could. But now I am stuck in this house that I can't sell because it's worth nearly half of what I owe on it. :cus:

I did read that part but you gotta live in Connecticut to understand how Connecticut works. Connecticut doesn't keep a watch for stuff like that. They don't keep track of pretty much anything. They've cooked the books for the last few years, and they let murderers out of jail to go and commit crimes again. No way are they going to "make sure" these people become legal - we are broke, we don't have the funds to enforce it, let alone anything else. If they make them become legal and THEN let them go to school. Would solve babysitting them.
