VSS Fault?

All I did was install new flashing tail lights and new air horn on front. when I started it up the check engine light came on and VSS Fault scrolled across the screen. What happen? :sour:

Tail lights did it. :shocked:

They are a monitored circuit by the Can-Bus and can do this if changed.

The horn is not a monitored circuit.

Don't know what you installed, but LED replacements for the standard bulbs would have to be removed. If you want the brakelights to flash, you can install HyperLites , or NoMagic's Triple play without any CanBus problems.

My strong recommendation is to get the triple play with the center taillight...they're BRIGHT and work great! While you're at it, get the fender tipz for some more function out of those lights...
