Visiting Cape Canaveral area Feb 18th

I will be visiting relatives in Cape Canaveral and wondered if any Spyderlovers in the area would like to meet for dinner :chat: on Monday the 18[SUP]th[/SUP]?

I don’t know the area very well so if anyone has suggestions for a local eatery that’s good just let me know. For right now I was thinking Applebee’s on Merritt Island off 520. I know many of you work so would 7:00 work for everyone?

Let me know if anyone is interested in having dinner. I’m looking forward to meeting other Spyderlovers in your area.

I'm not much of a facebook user but will look at the site. I have had dinner with Y-Rider when he lived in Quincy, IL and breakfast with Phil when he was visiting Chicago. Had a great time visiting with fellow Spyderlovers.

I am just now seeing this thread so please accept my apologies for not having responded. I'm in Sanford, Florida, (about an hour away). However, I have a homeowner's association meeting and I'm on the Board of Directors.

How long will ya'll be in the area?

We are in the area all week.
Monday hoping to meet up with SpyderDen, Lunch or Dinner not set yet.
Heading to St. Cloud for an eco safari Tuesday.
Family events the rest of the week around this area and over in Winter Haven.

Meeting up with JJ at Fishlips on Port Canaveral at 4:00pm today Monday 2/18. Sorry for the late notice we just put it together yesterday. There will be 2 cruise ships leaving about that time. Great view from 2 story deck. Fishlips has a great happy hour special with great appetizers for half price. Most about $5 and more than a meal. Adult beverage specials too for those so inclined. All are welcome to join us.

I did see you in Galena in July, here was my post in the Spyder Sightings.

Saturday 7/15 I saw a black RT with a graphic of the space shuttle on the frunk parked with some other two wheelers in Galena, IL. A family was looking at it when rode by on my red RT and they started yelling look look another one. No parking or I would have stopped."

Thanks for the offer. I drove over to Winter Haven and saw two Spyders who might have been heading out to the event. I know they had to be with the Florida Express, they were in the left lane passing everyone!

The first one was a silver GS with Corbin saddle bags, rider had a white half helmet.
The second one was a Magnesium RT, rider wearing a black vest.

We enjoyed your visit. Too bad we didn't hook up in Galena but we will have a chance again this year. I don't check the sightings often so I missed it. Sorry. We have had two great days of riding. Friday did Daytona and Saturday did the food bank poker run. Two days of sun up to sundown. We will let you know when we get to WI.

They rode like them but I don't think it was them. The RT rider did not have a shirt on just the vest. He was also not as tall as Forrest. Did not get a good look at the GS rider.
