Bump for the Vintage Motorcycle Ride, Show, and Swap Meet June 13-14 at the Gilmore Car Museum in Hickory Corners, Michigan (posted on the Michigan board). If you've been to this event, you know it is a great destination for a ride, with up to 3,000 spectator motorcycle showing up annually, with spectator motorcycle parking adjacent to the show field. The vintage bike show is one of the largest in the area, and has literally hundreds of gorgeous old bikes. The Museum also has a "History of Drag Racing" exhibit this year, that features some splendid cars, as well as some of E.J. "Michigan Madman" Potter's old race bikes. Well worth the $8 spectator admission...or enter a pre-1989 bike if you have one.
