• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Video sharing sites

Does anyone know of any sites that permit large file size video sharing? I have a 40 minute video of a run for Vietnam Vets I recently edited down from 90+ minutes that I would rather keep intact over dissecting it into segments and posting on YouTube or FB. Even some place that removes the video after 30 days, which is not a bad idea if there isn't such a place.

I also believe you can upload longer videos to Photobucket if you are willing to pay the $25 annual membership fee.

The thing I don't like about photobucket is they will change the url on you and then you have a bunch of dead links like this.

Lamont, I have found that it isn't them that changes the URL. It is if you sort or move your photo to a different photo album, then you have in essence changed the URL. The only time I ever had a problem with that was when I tried moving photos to albums after I had posted them somewhere. So now, I try to put things in the proper album first.

Thanks for using me as an example. :yikes:

That is true what dtang says, it was my fault I changed something and it effected my whole entire RTS album.

Come to think of it i was moving photos to a different album. Never
would have done it if I knew.Yikes. :(

So I finally went back and fixed my review of the Corbin experience thread and my
helmet review. I tried to remember which photos I was using. Pain in the As$:helpsmilie: But I figured they would be useful
enough if some Spyderlover was using the search engine as I often do to get more info on a question I have.
