• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Vibration on ST

Good morning everyone, Once again I need your advice. I originally had problems with vibration on my 2013 ST Ltd. I had the wheels balanced twice. It was nice and smooth for awhile then the vibration started again. So while in Gatlingburg I had new tires put on the front. Once again the ride was great for about 1000 miles. Yesterday I rode about 200 miles and it started again. A lot of the vibration felt like it was coming from the front tires but it also seemed like a constant vibration from under the seat too. I've had it aligned. The dealers keep telling me that's how the ST rides. I would believe them except for the fact mine rides so smooth for awhile then it starts again. Anyone else have the same problem ??????

You could try a couple of things, check your wheel alignment, and check your drivebelt tension. The 2013 Spyders have a different gearbox to previous and the belt needs to be almost double the tension on pre 2013s

I would guess drive belt.

I added one of the aftermarket belt tensioners, made it better, but not totally vibration free for sure.

Not sure how it would change over time, other than possibly temp changes.
