• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Veterans Remembered

Big Arm

New member
Since we are honoring our veterans today, one of our oldest is Sgt. Charles Floyd, a young 22yr. old Army Sgt. who served in the Lewis and Clark Expedition. Sgt. Floyd was the only member of the expedition to die while exploring the Louisiana Purchase. Floyd died Aug. 20, 1804. His death is believed to have been caused by a ruptured appendix.
Sgt. Floyd is buried on a bluff overlooking the Missouri River, here in Sioux City, IA.

Just thought I'd share this little bit of history on a day that we set aside to remember the veterans that have served this country so well. May they all rest in peace.

How about a vet story from your little town ?
