• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Valley of Fire outside Las Vegas & Glen Canyon Dam Arizona

Jeriatric

Thinks out loud
Our last outing. 1,800 miles, six states and a very good time. Low temp was 32 degrees between Cortez, Colorado and Durango. Nothing but snow and 4 to 5 foot ice cycles. Just beautiful!

Amazing what you can do and where you can go - when reliable equipment is used.

Valley of Fire is one of my regular visits when we are in Las Vegas. We also went to Red Rocks the last time. It was way better than we thought it would be.

Did you go to the backside/hidden of Valley of Fire by entering past a little pool with a plaque that was dedicated to an Indian? I had to use a stone and periodically make a mark so I could find my way out; I went in alone, and everything looks the same back there.

Did not do the hiking stuff because of the hip issues at the time.
