• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Utopia Backrest Easyout Bracket

I installed the easy-out for my Utopia backrest today. Bob at Utopia said it was easy to do w/o removing the seat: unbolt the bracket, slide it out, slide in easy- out bracket and bolt it up. The first 3 steps were easy enough but getting the holes to line up with under seat T-bracket was kinda a pain without being able to see the holes. I even had a screwdriver thru one of the holes and couldn't get the bolts started. After about hour of struggling I decided that I had actually had one started several times but thought it wasn't right because it wouldn't thread in by hand. I finally just decided that it had to be right and put a wrench on it; threaded right in. Jeez! Must of had powder coating on the threads. I shoulda run the bolts in before hand. Oh well got it installed, it works great and ready to ride.
