• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I have 2014 Rt-se6. Want to add a cb, and I know its been talked about in previous posts, anybody have a used one, or give some advise on aftermarket ones. My friends have goldwings that use CB's.

I have one for a 2014 RTL in the box along with an upgraded J&M antenna. Wife who rides a Goldwing, and I decided to use other communicators instead. PM me if interested..... Jim

J&M make a handlebar mounted CB with FM. I believe it's plug n play. The BRP CB is pricy and works with current RT's except for the 2018 & 19's. Some of us use hand held Midland CB moused to the handlebars. I have mine mounted to the center and powered by a USB plug cig adapter to the radio power cable. Bulky cable has to be bundled and tie wrapped next to it making for a big ugly mess.

The J&M product is good but it will NOT be integrated with the onboard audio.....at least not for transmit.
If you are considering this option, talk to J&M before ordering.

The offered OEM radio would be good if the price is right......but when I had mine done, two additional wiring harnesses were needed too.
