• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I just traded in my 2011 RT for 2014 RT Limited black curtain:yes:. It was a cold ride home it's only 32 here. I could really tell the difference in power between the old one and the new one. Looking forward to many more years of fun, hope see you out on the road. On the 1330s what's Is the best RPM to shift at?

:congrats: on your new RT. You are going to like it a lot. Try shifting at 3000-3500 for that "sweet spot" seemless shift. Automatic downshifts are flawless just as they are.

If you use EcoMode, it will have you shifting about 2500-2900 or so. I don't like it, so I do not use it. I get 39-41 mpg from the start.

3,000 - 3,500

As said in a post above, I have found that an upshift at the 3,000 - 3,500 range works best for me. Also getting in the area of 40 MPG every tank full. I never owned or rode the 998 V-twin, but I love the 1330, although I can't compare the two.

congrats. is it hard to ride upside down

Yea, but it is a Spyder John and they have been known to cling to ceilings and things. Looks like a giant Black Widow upside down.

Biggest question is how is he going to get it down??

Congrats on the upgrade. You will never look back.

Jack
