• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Update on JL Audio Spyder Sound System

I recieved an email from JL Audio (see email below) today. Some of us have been waiting for this to happen. Manville Smith also told me in another email that we can order this pacakage from our dealer now but it won't be ready to ship for a week or two. This system although a little pricey and without a music source should really rock our Spyders.

The Can-Am "SlamPak™" will be sold as a complete package for $1650 (Manufacturer's Suggested Retail). Your dealer sets the actual selling price.

The SlamPak™ consists of:
Fiberglass Main Speaker Modules with M770-TCS marine component speakers (install onto fairing).
Fiberglass Subwoofer module with 8W3v3 8-inch driver (installs under front storage lid).
4ch XD400/4 amplifier (installs under front storage lid).
HD-RLC Master Volume Knob (for amplifier)... mounts according to your preference.
Wire Harness (signal, power and ground cables, fuse holder)
Vent Kit for storage compartment (directs bass energy under the fairing)
Mounting Hardware.

The main speaker pods will be sold as stand-alone items for $750/pr. Manufacturer's Suggested Retail
The subwoofer module will not be sold as a stand-alone.

Hope that helps, and thank you for your interest!

Looks nice, but my iPod fits in my pocket & mates nicely to my $17 Aerostitch helmet speakers... Let's see, that leaves enough for 15 nights at a motel while traveling.......
