• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

So I went to the Nearest Dealer today ready to purchase my New 2014 RT
Looking around the showroom only seen 6 New 2013's so as I was looking at them
the Salesman walks up and asks what brings me in today. I told him I was looking to
purchase a New 2014 RT. He replied We have 6 New in Crates out back, but we're not
going to put any on floor till we sell all the 2013's. I asked to speak with the Manager
or owner. He said they wasn't in. He said he would be glad to sell me a 2013 how
would you be paying for it .....LOL. I said cash if need be. But for 2014 model I been waiting
for a year to purchase a 2014 model. He insisted that he wouldn't sell me a 2014
i found that to be strange and crazy. So I will travel more than hour away to see if
i could buy one. They had 6 2013's on the floor and 3 in crates. With this kind of
attitude no wonder they still have so many 2013's still.
just wondering is this normal for dealers to do?

Received a PM from Kyle Bell from Richardson Motorsports on 1-29-14 asking me
To contact him, In doing so he asked me to give him and RMS one more chance.
He said if I did he would try to make everything correct. So after shopping around at
Other dealers I decided to give them one more chance. When my husband and I entered
The store we was greeted with in seconds. I asked for Kyle, he was notified that I was
In store and came out to meet me. We started talking he asked what would it take to earn
Our business so we sat in the office and I told him. He came up with a deal no one could refuse.
He took me around and introduced me to the Parts, and Service Departments.
Everyone was so nice and took time to talk with me on all my concerns.
Out the door deal was great price no one even came close to and he through in the
Tri-Axis Handle Bars, BRP Hitch w/Module, ROLO- Lazar Alignment done by their BRP Lead Tech.
We shook hands on the deal, the bike was still in it’s shipping crate I gave him a week to
Get the bike put together and ready for pick up. I returned the following weekend to
Take delivery they again greeted me and tended to every need I had. The bike was ready and looking
Great. Kyle told me that he reads spyderlovers often and they have made changes in there store
He wants to sell quaintly and quality to get the most spyders out on the roads. He assured me that
He would do everything he could to reach his new goal to most spyders sold and the happiest customers.
Driving the bike home it Tracked like an arrow and rode like a dream.
Hats off to Kyle and the whole RMS Team for making this a great purchasing experience.
I would highly recommend them to any one now, what a change they have made.
WOW. Thanks to all of the RMS Team.

great

great to hear and congrats on the new bike, many happy miles. my dealer has 1 14 not built yet but would sell it if i wanted it, he also said he was not putting it out till the 13's sold but he would sell the 14, so i guess they want to push the 13's to impulse buyers first

Good dealerships outnumber the bad ones and even the good ones have a bad hire now and then.

Glad you gave them another chance.

A great ending to a bad beginning.:yes: It is great to hear that the dealer stepped up to the plate and worked hard to earn you back as a customer.

We can hope that other dealers are watching and get the message too.

Excellent post.
Sounds like they are trying to do the right thing and have earned your business.

Kudos to them on a job well done!

:congrats: Glad that they finally came to realize that they made a mistake initially with you and ended up taking care of you after your spyderlovers post :)

happy to hear that this dealer stepped up and earned your business. Glad to know that some of the dealers read spyderlovers and can correct a problem on the spot. Again i say Congrats on your new ride.

Everyone makes mistakes, it's what they do to correct it that counts. Glad your dealer did good by you.

I have a saying I throw out there once in a while. "The next time you feel perfect try walking on water" ;)
