Ultimate seats

Well I just ordered the Ultimate Seat for our RT. Spoke with Russel who was real helpful and answered all my questions. He wasn't pushy for the sale and didn't bad mouth other seat companies. I find that to be a cool way of doing business. Let the product speak for itself. He said it was back ordered but due in around 10 days.

We'll be riding up to the Daytona location for the install about 2 1/2 hours from us. It should give us a good indication of how well we'll like it riding home. I especially liked the 14 day return policy. A great idea cause ya can't complain if they are willing to give you your money back. Can anyone with this seat please let me know your thoughts. Next up is the rack for the trunk.

Oh BTW, I also called DiamondR and left a message to order their new Armrests. Can't wait to get them...:thumbup:

I sat on the RT Limited with the Ultimate seat they had at Spyderfest. It had a good feel, firmer than stock but softer than my Corbin. My only issue was that it pushed me too far forward like the stock seat but they said another version would soon be available that moves you back 2". I didn't like the chrome fuel door but a black was available that I think would make it blend in better with the seat.

Looking forward to your review. I like my Corbin but for long rides I still need an Airhawk.

I was afraid to order the Corbin. The few times I've sat on them, they seemed too hard for me. I suffer from a condition known as "Noasatal" :roflblack:. So far the best seat I've used was a "Mustang" seat for the HD Road King I had years ago. They don't make a seat for the Spyders from what I understand so I'm really hoping this Ultimate Seat will live up to it's name....

I purchased an Ultimate Seat at Spyderfest. I am 6'3" and could really use an extra 2-3 inchs back, but other than that really like it so far. I ride an RS so keep that in mind if owning an RT, it could make a difference.

The best seat I ever sat on was the Kontour one I purchased for my RS. I sure wish I could have used it on my RT.

I ordered a Ultimate seat for my RT at Spyderfest. I had one on my RS and absolutely loved it. I am even getting it trimmed in purple hmmmmm wonder why purpleLOL.

I can't comment on the Ultimate seat for a Spyder, but several years ago we were at a Valkyrie get together and bought an Ultimate seat. The next day we left to ride home, about 1,800 miles, and were chased by rainstorms. In order to stay dry we rode just ahead of them for over 800 miles in one day. We were tired, but the seats were indeed the "Ultimate". They are very popular with Valkyrie riders and I suspect will be very popular with Spyder Ryders, and yes, I will be getting one soon for my Spyder.

I'm gonna guess that it would. If only I could trade afflictions with you I might not need an Ultimate Seat....:roflblack:. Thanks to everyone for your input. So looking forward to getting the seat. I also got a call from DiamondRAccessories last night. She returned my call and took my order for their new armrests. What a great lady she was. Very friendly and nice to deal with. She told me to share that they have some more products coming soon for the Spyders but wouldn't elaborate. Top secret I guess..lol.

I'm 5'7 and the feel was right for me but you never know until you put miles on it.

At time of Spyderfest they were 3 weeks out for delivery.

My husband bought an Ultimate Seat for his Honda VTX 1800 and loves it. Soooo....I ordered one for my RS on Monday 4-30-12. I just got my UPS conformation today that it is shipping to me. I hope to have it by Wednesday. OF COURSE my RS is due to go into the shop for its first 600 miles service on Monday. I guess if my new seat gets here before I get my 'baby back' I will just have to ride it around the livingroom! LOL!

I was lucky enough to have an ultimate seat ordered on the first day, made, sent and installed at spyderfest. I had quite a bit of discomfort in my lower back/butt on the 750 mile trip to spyderfest. had a corbin seat on it. too hard for me.

got a camel seat with black accents. also the gas cap. did the same 750 mile trip at the end of spyderfest, with absolutely no pain anywhere. just my experience, but i'm sold on it.

anybody interested in a slightly used corbin seat for a 2010 RT, cheap?
