• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Thanks in advance,
Rich

I just purchased and installed my Ultimate Seat lowrider. I got the lowrider because I am only 5'4" and tend to sit all the way up. The lowrider supports my back. The weekend before I installed it, I took a long ride 2.5 hours and my butt was pretty stiff on exit. I wanted to take this ride so I could take the same ride 5 days later with the Ultimate seat Lowrider to compare. At first it was a little weird having the stock seat for 2 years and 10k miles but after a few short rides and then the big ride it was a pretty good feeling and when the long ride was over, did not feel the stiffness in my butt and legs. So I guess it is doing what its suppose to do. Plus remember if you buy it direct, you get 14 days to test it. If you don’t like it you can send it back.

The install is pretty easy, the hardest and scariest part is when you have to close the seat for the first time, and your hoping it doesn’t jam. I eyeballed it and then left the latching peg just a little loose and opened it and closed it repeatably and slowly tighten the latch each time.

Yes. Bought a mid-rider (I'm 5'10", 32" inseam, mid-rider is perfect for me).

Only problem is that I soon also wanted to get footboards and risers-- modifying the seating geometry on a bike is like pulling a sweater thread, you're never done until you're done! ;)

rich, it has been by far the best farkle on our 2012 rss. with the stock seat the misses always thought she was sliding downhill into me. with the new seat (which we've had for over 12,000 miles) we both have comfortable asses! we have done several 400 plus mile days with no regrets!!
