• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

well i have had company all weekend but the weather has really sucked as far as wind goes. so today as soon as it warms up a lil my lady friend and i are going for a ride on the bike. this will be the first time i will ride two up on the spyder and i am hoping it will be a good ride. so i will post later how everything went today. this will be her first ride on a bike in many years, so i will take it easy for her and hope she enjoys it.

Great..!!

the good thing is you will not have the counter leaning that comes from a new ryder on a two wheeler. You both will be fine and in a mile or two like two peas in a pod...enjoy the ryde...:ohyea:

Have fun. It's really easy to ride 2up on the spyder. She going to want ride all the time now.

My first 2 up

I have just returned from a 300 mile ride around East Texas (Athens, Palestine, Canton area) with 13 of my fraternity brothers. Most of them HD. 1 Spyder and 3 HD trikes 7 2-wheelers. Lots of fun breaking in my new ryde til one trike broke down 60 miles from home base. Had to give my 250 lb friend a ride back. Since I am about 220, the RTL was loaded and the CG was much higher than usual. Still was able to keep up nicely in the twists and 70 plus speeds!
Am finally up to 900 miles on her today.

Avoid g forces on the tight turns by going slow until she gets accustomed and you will have a rydeing partner that will be very happy.

ride

well we had a great ride today, karen is built like i feel a lady should be built and not a china doll. so at first it seemed strange going into the turns with the lil extra weight on the bike but once she got used to it we did a lot of miles and had a great time. so it was a fantastic day and i am just sorry that she is going back to ohio where she lives tomorrow night. what a great lady

 Glad to hear that it was a successful outing! :2thumbs: :congrats:
Is she planning on returning, for more riding opportunities? :dontknow:
