• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Aw man...I miss one night of checking the site and I miss this post. I'm right between Rend Lake and St. Gen. You could have stopped here and cooled off a bit, took a swim in the pool, played a few games of pinball, and sat in the massage chair before heading on and still made it on over to St. Gen. Hopefully I'll get to meet you at sometime. Where you headed from St. Gen?

We are here

Well we made it to festus mo. It's hot hot hot. We rode old school wet t-shirts and fast riding. We rode 421 all the way to 75n and then slept. Met some nice guy in sesser Il as a wire came loose and had to have tools to fix he opened up his garage and let us work on bikes there. Now in comfort inn in festus is there a dealer near here. I need a service on my rs due to it had 300 miles before we left now has 1000 miles on it. Plus need some attention on my RT. Any help would be great but has to have done by end of tomorrow. Please let me know and if you are close to festus call we will hook up. Supposed to tour biltbest window factory. Might not make it. Well thanks for the thoughts and continue due to we will pull out Sunday morning headed home back to Boone,.

Thank goodness

I just talked to cowtown. They are gonna help me out of a bind on short notice. Boy that's great. I hope that the spyders do as good going home as they did coming. We pushed hard 5500-6000rpm for four-six hrs a day. That's ruffley 75-80mph. We really had fun but will cruise interstates back to NC.

yes

My wife and I was just in Boone with friends about three saturdays ago.
Didn't know any Spyders were in the mountains! Visted the Mast store and I found a rocking chair up front and rocked until everyone was ready to leave.
It was "HOT" that day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

looking forward to meeting you. sorry I missed your mesage my computer was on but was busy with spyder custmers but, all good looking forward to meeting you....lol were all headed to the lake after work you guys should come with us spydergene and bumble bee, and so many others

It was great to meet both of you guys today! Sorry it didn't work out for you guys to go to the lake with us. Again thanks for comming by I hope we did right by you!:2thumbs:

The best

I had hoped that I would get to meet some nice people, I was in sorta a bind and just thought that it was nice that a dealer was going to try to work me in for a service on the rs and to once over my rt. Well we ran over to Cuba,mo this am and boy was I surprised. The nicest people, was in this building, now going off my prior experience in most all cycle shops they just sorta act like they rather be somewhere else, these guys were awesome even the mechanics, as I asked several questions and even discussed some new designs for parts and they were really helpful and really down to earth. These guys relize what's really important, and how to treat people, they fixed me up and I feel privileged to have met them and spent most day talking. If you ever get in or around st. Louis, mo go south on I44 to a little place where BBQ and the largest rocking chair is the main thing also the Jessie James wax museum there is a spyder dealer there just stop in and say hello you will get more from the visit than you thought.

Thanks guys and I can't wait to get back over here, and to see you in the smokies

One more :spyder2:lover who has discovered the magic of Cowtown! They are truly special people....I'm a convert. It's worth the almost 400 mile round trip for me to deal with them. I'm booked on Aug. 7 for service which they will work in during the morning, then they close up shop and go for a ryde with all their Spyder friends and do a dinner run that evening. I've booked a room in Cuba that night just to be able to have them do my work and to share the day with all the great MO people. I've never gone to that extreme for service before but then I'd never been to Cowtown until this May.
