RT Twitchy steering?
Hi from Oz, Have had plenty of trials trying to get problems sorted on new RT, the latest one that I have never read on any forum is, when coming out of a round-about or 90deg hard bend, on straightening out, the wheels give a couple of distinct twitches, felt through bars and on road, no big drama, but maybe in the wet enough to:dontknow: break away, any thoughts, Don

What have you done so far to isolate the cause(s)?
Tire pressures
Shock settings
How do you currently have the front end set up?

That's the tail wagging the dog feeling' It's inherent with two wheels up front one in back. When you straighten up the rear wheel is trying to center the Spyder, What with the DPS being relatively lite you might be over correcting the bars when straitening out??
The traction control will keep you from breaking out.

Don't recognise this behaviour on my RT, if I had this problem I'd get my dealer involved. It doesn't sound right. :dontknow:

I would get it on the BUDS and make sure your steering angle sensor is set correctly.

what have I done????

what have I done about it ? nothing because out of six weeks since new, it was unridable for best part of 4 weeks, tyre pres 17 althought they were at 20psi for a while, same problem, front shocks on last but one setting hard, busy doing can ams work for them now, heat insultion on exhaust etc, fitting rottisserie for even cooking of right foot before summer, fitting belt tensioner, taking front off to give clearence on dreaded stay nut, etc etc etc, not quite enough taken off by dealer, if I was in living in Canada I would be looking for a Job at Can Am, by the end of the year!!! they have made so many engineering faux pas that it beggers belief, and even when they get to know about them, they just carry on ignoring web sites like this one.

When I push a corner a bit I get that sensation. It almost seems like the back end is sliding then catching like the feeling when a 2 wheeler crosses wet pavement markings. If I slow a bit the it feels fine.
