• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

My2011 has a bad trunk water leak. It's not usable. Getting worse. I just can't figure it out. Ideas please.

SpyderPops has a replacement gasket for the frunk, maybe cut it to fit the trunk :dontknow:

If you have a luggage rack, guessing it could be a grommet or more unfortunately, a crack. Maybe a test: If you have a bright lantern, turn it on & close it inside the trunk, then look for escaping light while in the dark somewhere.

+1 on inspect the rubber seal. Cracks , torn, out of alignment stuff. I like the - do you have a rack question - .

Gotta be coming from somewhere.

Ya all come back now.

He says it's not the frunk. That means the Seal, PN 219800177, has to have dried out, cracked, or come completely loose or some such malady. He should be able to trace the leak to its source with a hose and water. If it were an alignment problem the trunk cover would not latch when closed.

I'm thinking your 2011 model is an RT ..... you have the same one as my 14 ..... I can't think of way it can be LEAKING .... 67,000 plus miles with some very heavy rain and mine is DRY ...... hope you can figure this out ..... Mike

Hey Bryan. The seal for the rear trunk (not frunk) is in the lid. Out of sight out of mind. It closes down on that raised lip that goes all the way around. Might want to make sure it's still there. If not, it's probably nothing more than an overpriced length of weatherstripping that you can get at Home Depot and replace yourself. The seam where the two ends come together is center rear.

Behind that false panel are the mounting screws for the chrome emblems, I believe. There can be holes there and as mentioned, any after market luggage rack that might be on the lid put holes in the top, also. Good Luck.
