trunk relocator kit

I saw where the F-3T Limited's have a relocator kit for the trunk, to move it back a couple of inches. Is there a way (or a kit) to move the 2020 RT-Limited's trunk back a couple of inches? I am interested in purchasing a 2020 RT-L and if I put a drivers backrest on, it will take away from the passengers space that is needed.

I haven't seen a 2020 RT yet, but if the trunk and bags are the same as previous years, they are all one piece and cannot be moved. You can get a thinner passenger backrest.

Nothing is the same between the 2020 RT and previous years except the drivetrain. The trunk is now removable. Bags are different, too, but that isn't pertinent to this thread.

OP--I haven't heard of a trunk relocator but that doesn't mean there isn't one.

I wonder if this new latching system for the 2020 trunk would have another baseplate that you could buy and put on. Then the trunk would mount to this other baseplate that would move everything back some.

Rottman, at 6’7”, I have been paying close attention to seat design. I don’t know if it would give you what you wanted, but the new 2020 RT adds an extra 2” of room for the driver, and an extra 1” of room for the passenger.

Spyderpops makes the trunk extender for the F3L about 4 inches back. My wife loves the room she has now. Call them and ask if one is in the works for the 20 RTL with the linq system.

I love my trunk relocate or. Contact the supplier , SpyderPops as I recall, and see if he plans to make one for a2020.
