• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Trip to Nelson BC

I finally was able to take a trip on the F3, went from Spokane, WA. up to Nelson, BC. traveled about 550 miles and I must say I liked that ride much more on the F3 then I did on the RT. Don't get me wrong I really liked my RT but riding with my 2 wheeled friends I tend to push the corners pretty hard & I found myself much less fatigued on F3 then I did on the RT. I do however miss the storage on the RT, I'm still waiting for my saddle bags so it was just a seat bag and Frunk. Just thought I'd pass on my impressions of the ride.

Here are few pics from the trip.

Thanks for the report about your F3. And for the pics at Fort Nelson. That will be one of my stops on the way home from Alaska.

Sorry that's not Fort Nelson, that is Nelson, BC about 1700 mile south of Fort Nelson. And these Pic's are from surrounding areas of nelson.

My husband and i did the Selkirk Loop from Creston, BC up to Kelso and then back to Creston through Nelson this past weekend too. Didn't see you... I didn't ride my Spyder as i wanted to ride on the back of the Harley through the curves. Just had to say something as i saw the pictures and found it funny that we where there too... Great weekend ride.

That's a great area to ride. I did see a group with 3 or 4 Spyders leaving Nelson as we were coming back into town on Saturday.

Nelson BC

The Spokan Am riders did the Selkirk loop to Nelson last year, staying overnight and relaxing in the pools at Ainsworth hot springs before crossing over on the Ferry and riding down through to Bonners Ferry Idaho, we had 10 spyders on that trip. This coming September we are making the trip again, it's truly a great ride.

Saturday Sept 19th, and return Sunday Sept 20th, you up for the ryde karyl? We meet in Post Falls near State line and ride up through Newport way and cross in above Metalline Falls. Cross the Ferry Sunday and Down through Bonners Ferry. Most of us are making reservations now, last year I was a little late and ended up in Nelson 14 miles from Ainsworth, still not bad for distance. Let us know.
