Trip report and question

Hi all, just got back from a 600 mile weekend trip. Spyder (2013 ST Limited) ran perfectly, water temp between 3-5 bars, 33-35 miles per gallon. Heavy wind on the way home, I felt a little like the dog in the back window, which brings me to my question; I'm 6', the wind shield comes up to about my chin. If it came up about another 6 " It would buffer the wind a lot more, making for a nicer ride. I am sure this has been covered, but I can never find anything with the search engine here.

Has anyone changed their wind shield to fix this issue and been happy with their purchase? Thanks in advance for any help!

I am tall and have an RT and I prefer to ride with my windshield all the way down. I find that if I put it up high I get too much pressure on the back of my head and neck.
