• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I made an inquiry about the reverse trike Goldwing. Here's the reply I received.
Florida dealer.

Hi Ken, thank you for your inquiry. As one of the dealers for the reverse trike R18 we are on a hold pattern right now. We did not feel that the kit they are making is up to par in terms of riding, handling and quality.

Thank you.

Interesting..!!

but we have seen them about. Wonder how many outfits are getting into these kits...

You have to applaud them, for their honesty!

:agree:

And this is precisely why Reggy has so many ardent supporters on this forum. If he feels something isn't quite right, he will make it right or not sell it. Major kudos to them.

Was that TricWing or another dealer?

That looks like a F6B Wing conversion. I do not believe the F6B has a reverse system. Even the 1800 wing does not have a great reverse. In any case if a dealer does not feel it is a good deal at this time, I would stay away.
Triking a Gold wing voids the warenty on them. Many dealers will not touch them for "cash"

They must have done a couple of conversions, and now the customers are having major problems, huh? The reverse issue would be a huge concern for sure. We will be watching, and waiting, to see how these sell in the long run. #Teamspyder.

You are incorrect in your assumption.I believe Reggy built 2 of them as demonstrators. He has not sold them to anyone as his reply states he is not happy with it.Hector his associate has the other.Knowing Reggy unless he is 100 percent sure he would not put anything out.

100% Spot-on correct Ivor. I commend Reggy for taking a thorough approach with this kit.

I believe there will eventually be another competitor in the "Y" factor market, whether kit or mass produced. There are some that say this is merely a Spyder copy. I would suggest it isn't any more or less of a copy than back in the day, Harley copying Indian, or Honda copying Harley in the two wheel market.

I hope competition of any type will be a good thing for the Spyder. There may even be some fresh engineering ideas brought to the "Y" factor table.
