• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

There are soooo many mods/farkles that we can add to our beloved Spyders....until now my #1 when asked by fellow ryders was my cup holders (I'm serious)...then early summer I watched Squared Away install the Wide-Vu mirrors that TricLED (Reggy and Cindy) have developed...but was on an RT...I ryde the F3...I was like soooo impressed but not available, as Reggy was still creating...well they are now available for the F3 and I ordered and received and installed (easy peasy...even I could do, once I realized they were directional :banghead::banghead:. Those mirrors are now my #1...you NEED THESE. Huge, huge improvement in visibility. NO blind spots...yep safety first and these mirrors do it...:thumbup:

Has anyone removed their stick-on blind spot mirrors from your OEM without damaging them to go to these larger view mirrors????? Should I "leave well enough alone" and use the $$$ on another farkle?????
Thanks
Mike

Hi Mike, we removed our stick on after our wide-vu mirror item came it and put it on our Spyders.
I know there are Spyder folks that had remove their stick on also, after the purchased our mirrors.
I would suggest, using a heat gun or hair dryer to gently warm up the sticky-back, then remove the stick on.

hope this helps.

Hear tell...!

Looking forward to getting some in St George Utah at the Red Rock Rally next month....

These look like they give a much better view and don't appear to have any distortion of the image. I have just sent a message to see if they ship to the UK, fingers crossed they do and I will soon have some on my F3s

Well I have a very quick response from Cindy by email and the good news is they do ship to the UK

They are on there way

Another +1 on TricLED's WideVue mirrors for RT's (and F3's) The field of view is sooooo much better...

Cindy,
Thanks for the helpful hint. I'll give it a try with the hair dryer.

Add me to the list

to get the Wide Vu mirrors

Well, I installed the mirrors last night, and can't wait to take the Spyder for a ryde. Hardest part of the install was getting the backing to come off the adhesive material.

I received mine yesterday for my RTS...another positive post from me! Installed in five minutes. Greater viewing area. And you can't beat the customer service from TricLed!!

Yes, they stick right on the surface of the stock mirrors, Best safety upgrade for the driver ever.
