• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Does anyone have the install instructions for the Tric Products RT/RT-S 3rd/4th brake lights? I am wanting to add these to my RT Limited and am trying to see what I'm getting into as far as installation before purchase.

Install is pretty easy. The hardest part is disconnecting the brake light and connecting the extension. Very Small cramped space with little to no cable slack I found it was easiest to drop the rear mud flap a bit and remove the actual tail light. (both pretty easy)

:agree: It's a bit tight making the electrical connections...
Basically you have to remove the panel that covers the top trunk and extends downward to the saddlebags:
Four screws up on top and then two on each side.. (Open the trunk and bags and they're very easy to see)
Left side: find the electrical connection in their, unplug it and pull all that you can out into the open... (This is where there's not much to work with!)
Plug in the harness extension to one end, and then plug the other side back into the other chunk of the harnes...
This is where it gets a bit colorful...
Hook something solid around the back side of the factory harness connection so that you can hold it solid and manipulate it bit as you try to plug in the TricLED extension... Small hands help a lot! two people are needed; with a third to pick up whatever gets thrown!
Eventually it will get connected, then just hook up the TricLED lights to the harness, throw that panel back in place and you're good to go!
