• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. TRIAXIS AND GPS

Hi everyone, it's getting chilly here is Chicagoland.

If I put on the Triaxis handlebars and I have the Zumo 660 GPS can the GPS just be mounted on the handlebars left or right side. Thanks, Mike

I have the Triaxis on my 2016 RTL. It came with the 660 but the bracket for it is different for the triaxis bars. When the dealer installed the new bracket it was for the 590. Apparently CanAm had already started the switch to the 590's.

I dont think you will have enough slack in the cable to mount it on the left or right side unless you get creative with your routing. I just went through this same thing when I installed min a few weeks back. I went with the center mount on a RAM ball.

Mike,
There is a special mount for the 660 garmin for the tri axis bars,it is pricey.I don't have the part # but maybe someone on here does so you can get the right one.I found mine on ebay that a dealer had laying around and got it at a reasonable price.

Although I don't know about the cable length for the 660 mount because my mount is for a 590, if they are the same length you could mount the GPS on the right bar with some type of mount other than the Tri-Axis center mount but mounting on the left bar is unknown because I don't know how much cable, i.e., slack, remains under the Tupperware.
