• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Trailer wiring with digi keyplug

I have a older backwoods bungalow trailer I've been working on. After reading the forum on adapter plugs and such, I ordered the digikay plug and pins.
After getting the plug it did not come with a back cover so I went to Lowes and gor a electrical 1" conduit cap. I drilled a hole to pass the wires through. When i confirm the pins are correct and seated to pass voltage I will either use silicone or epoxy to fill the cap and water proof the connection.
The only big issue was getting the pins far enough in the plug to make a good connection.
All in all it will be worth the effort.
I did have the dealer install the hitch and BRP connector on the bike.:D

Next time, Deutsch does make a boot for the rear of the connector. Not sure if Digi-Key sells them, but some other vendors do.
