• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Trailer hitch

As Joe said, yes you can get an aftermarket one.. Canadian company makes them and they're pretty good units... for around $299.

BUT.....

The BRP one can be had for around $430 or so.. and comes with the proper wiring harness, etc... and has been specifically designed with a patented dampening system to avoid damaging your rear bearings.

I'd go with (and did this time) the BRP hitch setup.... that way they won't complain about you using a 3rd party hitch.

:agree: with Firefly and Joe. Some dealers will give you a discount if you insist, probably include the install, since the hardest part is hooking the trailer module. Plus, it will be under the :spyder2: warranty as well.

Trailer Hitch

Contact Honda East (Spyderlovers sponsor) and talk with Brad, in their parts department. I just ordered the 2013 trailer hitch for my RT Limited. He worked with me a little and got it down to 425 + shipping. Be sure to let him know you're on Spyderlovers.
